Richmond is in Tasmania's South East.
Only...... 25 minutes from Hobart 75 minutes from Port Arthur 15 minutes from the Hobart Airport 12 minutes from Sorell
We are a great base for touring South and South East Tasmania.
Coming from Hobart.... Once off the Tasman Bridge - take the first EXIT off to the Right (Sorell Turnoff), now you are travelling along the Tasman Highway. Approximately 5kms along the Tasman Highway take the B31 EXIT Left to Cambridge. At the main intersection in Cambridge (opposite the BP service station) turn Left and Richmond is only about 12 minutes away. As you approach Richmond the speed limit decreases to 80kms, in approx 4 kms turn Left into Middle Tea Tree Road (You will see a blue Caravan Park Sign and a sign for Tea Tree) We are approx 400m along that road and on the Right
Coming from Port Arthur... As you drive into Sorell continue through the town, straight through the main intersection that has traffic lights. Continue along approx 5kms and you will come down a hill, look out for the turn off to your Left to Richmond - it's not very well signposted. Turn Left. Head over the hills, in about 10 minutes you will come into Richmond and drive over the Richmond Bridge. Once off the bridge take the slip lane off to the Left and drive through Richmond. You will come down a hill and start to exit the town - take the next turn to the Right. (You will see a blue Caravan Park Sign and a sign for Tea Tree) We are approx 400m along that road and on the Right
